I often download content from RSS feeds which cotains different file types e.g. mkv and mp4. Make Vuze intelligent so that only mkv content is transcoded and mp4 content is left alone. Finally, don't bother transcoding content from SD to HD.

Muxing .mkv files to mp4 is much more efficient and quicker than transcoding - so if muxing is possible make vuze use this instead.

When transcoding - save the transcoded file to the source directory instead of transcode>device>quality.
Also - include option to auto remove source file upon succesful transcode.

I currently have to use Orb, which is not very reliable, to stream music to my Xbox. It would be great to stream my entire music collection via something as reliable as Vuze, but still have all the files sorted by more than just filename. Currently when I open the Vuze media server from within the Xbox's Music Player, it shows no content under any of the categories, just under "All Music"; a complete list of all songs sorted by filename.

Burn dvd's from vuze for free. exactly like they are in the iso file with the dvd menu and everything if u want.

Support actual downloading using a mobile device. There are separate ideas for native mobile apps to allow you to remote control your Vuze.

All features that are in Vuse will be accessable using wifi

It is not really a new idea, but one that would certainly make Vuze stand-out.

Currently, we only detect plugged in devices if they connect as "USB Mass Storage Mode". Google Devs no longer care about this mode, and say MTP is indistinguishable from it.

Vuze needs to support MTP for the day they remove USB Mass Storage mode completely. You can already see thing beginning with the Nexus 7, Xoom, etc.

Including a "right click" on the device that would allow you to "diagnos playback issues (i.e. improve smooth playback, making it less stop and go, suggested Quality options for that device if the standard isn't what you really want), better buffering system (more cache room, or MB availible according to the computer AND device being used, scanning computer and device for more exact personalized settings.)

When external HD is removed, detect and pause torrents on that drive. When external HD is connected, unpause torrents.

Vuze Remote lets you control Vuze remotely from a Browser but requires that you either have a UPnP enabled router or that you manually map the required TCP port. Please make it work for users that don't satisfy these criteria.
