  2. Move the area under "Below is the torrent at ___" upward.

When Vuze is displaying the details of the selected file under the "Meta Search" tab, the application view window is divided in half: The upper portion displays the blue buttons: "back to results" and "download now", while the lower half of Vuze is displaying the torrent under "Below is the torrent at _____". You need to either make that dividing bar between them selectable so you can move it up, or just move that bar upward so that the application is displaying a view that has the top half representing 25% and the bottom half taking up 75% of the…

  4. 1. fix vuze crash on linux when metasearch starts; 2. metaengine batch add

    1. BUG: In linux, likely due to some java pain, when you start metasearch, vuze abrouptly crashes. I experimented this in debian squeeze and also debian sid (both vanilla, so nothing special, also tried installing sun java) both with packaged .deb and official vuze versions. Tried to play around but with configs but nothing led to a result. Definitely a bug, like I saw in other posts:

    2. IDEA: when inserting new metasearch engines (.vuze files) if would be nice if the dialog would allow to insert them all instead of one at a time (adding 20 engines gets kinda…

  5. pleeeease pay the attention that Vuze doesn't hide as requested by Cmd+H as all the applicatio

pleeeease pay the attention that Vuze doesn't hide as requested by Cmd+H as all the applications on OSX!!! only in case if you have any finder window open. otherwise it just ignores the command. it's discomforting to see such system-wide UI ignorance. haven't found any feedback link on site to post it. thx

  6. Display the year in date fields under "info" tab within torrent detail.

In the "info" tab under the torrent detail display, there are items such as "Completed On:", etc. that currently (with vers. 4.9.0.0 and earlier) display only the month and day of the date, not the year. Since I have many torrents that are several years old, I can't see the year that I had completed their download. There are 3 such fields under the "info" tab

It should be simple to add this to the display.
    Thanks !

  8. have a slider for up and download speeds.

have a slider next to it to lower up en download speeds, so when you need to browse, you can temporarely lower the speeds fast and easy. When you are done browsing you can put the slider up again, to increase up and download speeds.

  9. Customize new menu options / hide options never in use

Option to hide menu items that are not in use, most of us don't use all menu options so it would be nice if one can hide items that they don't use.

  13. able to sorta by data type in classic mode

it sorta looks like vuze is able to see if a torrent is mostly 1 type of data or another...would be nice if in classic mode..I could sort the torrents by the type of data.....app...archive...video...music...and yea I know I could create tags for them...I always forget tho..and seems simpler for me just to be able to sort the rows by data type

  15. repair interface color in last Vuze (5.7.0.0) in OS X 10.11.2 (El Capitan) !!

Repair interface color in last fuze (5.7.0.0) in OS X 10.11.2 (El Capitan) !!

After I update for latest Vuze (5.7.0.0) the UI turn black and blue, many times after I open the program. This makes a awful contrast and effectively the user don't see what are doing. When something finishes download return to normal blue and white. I don't see other reason if not a bug or incompatibility missed.

  16. Behavior of double-clicking media files in Torrent Details : Files should be identical to right-clicking : Open

TL;DR: In the Torrent Details : Files view, double-clicking a media file always open the Vuze HD Player, regardless of the setting in Interface : Tables : Launch Helpers. The behavior should be the same as right-clicking : Open, which uses said helpers.

Multiple questions on the forums or here in the suggestion tracker point to this: how to use another media player, instead of the Vuze HD Player. The answer is to use Launch Helpers in Options : Interface : Tables. This works fine, except with media files listed under the torrent details : Files view. Double-clicking them always…

  18. Remove Games

You don't need to download a game to play it. I say that Games is there for nothing, only to waste HDD space. If you would remove it, it would be better, considering no one uses it.
