Basically make it so I can double click a supported video file from outside of Vuze and have it open with the Vuze HD player

If u Simply can play your Downloaded Audio music, and Movie Video on a Vuze media player like VLC media Player! ;-) Peace

Hi there, how about search capabilities for the remote media player

It would be good to prevent Sleep during playback and also prevent Screensaver. It might also be a good feature when upgrading to Vuse Plus.

Your being sand mined by you competition. They have derived a workaround that spoils your preference for the display device (during their upgrade installs), and indeed circumvents the OS preferences (specifically subject to VLC). Cunning, annoying, and simply a a backroom attack expressed principally at your software. Hey, nice to be such a threat to the competition. Sort it, eat their lunch instead :)

i cant use your player no matter how much better then vlc it may be. i must use a keyboard for fwd/rwd volume, etc. and if the keystrokes reqiure more then one finger, i will need to remap them.

we could have a plugin (to say better: another gui for the "embedded media player" plugin ) to play audio files from torrents, hard disks, web radios and handle playlists

Currently the player has a couple of color problems and can sometimes make the video look weird. Which is annoying since Hi10P (Or 10-bit) is becoming the new standard (especially for anime).

Hey, I've just downloaded Vuze because I saw some guy using it to watch videos on his TV. And that's why I downloaded the software, not for sharing files.

I've been searching for a long time a simple way to wirelessly watch live broadcasts (like on youtube or something) on the TV through my mac/pc. I think there's no software/hardware available for that purpose (at least I'm not aware of it, unfortunately)

Would be awesome to build a solution for this problem! :D

While I am watching a film my computer decides to activate screen saver. This is irritating as for security when I return it goes to the lock screen. I don't have this problem with other full screen video playing (Automatically doesn't screen save) This problem has happened every time I have had Vuze on different os's and computers.

.srt files should be easily accessed and supported. There are foreign films I would love to watch using the built-in Vuze player.
