We have to use two different software in order to download files. One is the torrent client and another is ftp client - internet download manager.

Vuze should support both things.

if vuze's "Browser" per-say was more like Firefox or Internet Explorer, so we wouldn't have to have our browser open as well.

When seeding and having limited speed or connections, disconnect peers who have uploaded insignificant amount of data for a given period of time using the "Uploaded from you:Uploaded from other" ratio to allow for others that might have a greater need to connect. That will boost some of those users speed and the seeder would use her or his precious share ratio and bandwidth more efficient. You might wanna do something similar when downloading.

This would enable faster upload/download speeds and reduce the amount of bandwidth the ISP has to route.

The majority of clients I simply cannot connect to at all. This is a serious problem when downloading files from torrents with small swarms. Reachability should be the number one concern right now, in my humble opinion.

instead of having to know what the movie name is just have them seperated in lists by genre for people to look through

Some kind of background program that runs while my laptop is closed saves it to the server or something and when I come back and open it the torrent should be completed instead of having to reboot and search for seeders.

Add more torrents that automatically goes to our files. If we don't want them.....we can delete.

The ability to automatically rename an episode of a TV show in a format that the user specifies.
This could also apply to movies as you may want to always include the year made in the title if available or remove it.

Some entire countries have torrent connections blocked and throttled. Manually configuring is kind of tricky for beginner users and still difficult to find the most optimal settings. make it like a simple option so Vuze can configure itself to obtain a good, fast connection.

Since re-starting torrenting again after years away I have been staggered at the Malware! Already I have had some serious crashes. Would like the ability of members to post a note warning others of serious malware problems with torrents. That way we would not waste time on downloading and all the time ridding our machines of these awful computer pests!

Azureus has a DHT implementation that is incompatible with the mainline DHT implementation that pretty much every other torrent client uses.
And while a plugin exists that solves this problem, it is not installed by default, and thus many users do not have it. This hurts both their their user experience(they cannot find approx. 80% of the peers via DHT) and the whole swarm's too(they cannot be found by ~80% of the peers via DHT).

Bundling the mlDHT plugin with new Azureus releases would solve these problems, and it should be very easy to do.

would be nice for vuze to identify peers in the swarm that are only leeching and not sharing..and alert the user to this activity and give the user the ability to ban that user either for a limited time or forever

how it would do this is...it would keep track of how much data a partiticular peer has sent..and if its below a certain amount over a certain period of time..they that client is most likely only leeching

When I have one thing being downloaded, my internet browser slows down obviously. If Vuze could adjust the speed when another app is trying to use somme internet, then it would save the time of going to vuze and pausing all downloads and also free you from remembering that you have to resume a download

Add new torrents to the top of the queue (think auto-download subscriptions, when there are numerous large torrents already in the queue - they are added, but don't download because the large torrents in front of them have not yet finished - this is frustrating, especially when you're keen to get home and have the torrent ready)

ipfilters hosted in the swarm (something people couldn't limit the upload speed for...shouldn't need to for a 1mb file)..would have to be encrypted somehow so no one who isn't suppose to...could modify it
