It'd be nice to read the comments before you download. That way you'd know if something you're downloading has quality issues before hand.

Download/Seed the same file from multiple torrents
Vuze could be able to download the same files from multiple torrents simultaneously, by checking the blocks of files in other torrents, if they have the same hash as a pending one in a downloading torrent. This could be especially useful, if the block boundaries do not match and different peers have different torrents. It would also help to keep torrents alive.

Auto shutdown menu button.
Have an auto shutdown option under Tools menu like this: Tools→Auto Shutdown→Shutdown/Standby/Hibernate when downloads complete.
Instead of going into Tools→Options→Startup & Shudown.
This would be much better to use.

shortcut to enable shutdown-when-done-downloading
can u make a simple shortcut like when it done to download, it will turn of the computer? because it so many step to do it with usual setting.

merge torrents that include the same files
Some people just take a base file add some extra files to it and create a new torrent.
This way the swarm is shattered and you might end up with multiple seperate swarms that don't have the complete file.
Vuze should detect when multiple torrents you add to the download queue share common files between them and use all clients in all torrent swarms to finish the download and reseed to all of them.
You also could save diskspace that way.

default location for multi torrents
when you load a bunch of torrents on the open dialouge...it defaults to the C drive..I would like it to default to the root of the drive you have your downloads set to....

file-types/extensions to ignore (automatically don't download and don't even show) when adding torrents
there is the 'Files to ignore when creating/deleting torrents' option
i ask you to add the 'Files to ignore when ADDING torrents' option
for example, i constantly download music but i never need files like: log, jpg, jpeg, png, gif, bmp, m3u, sfv, md5, txt, nfo...
so my wish is: never see these file-types inside a torrent-file that i add to vuze
i still use u-torrent 1.6.1. But i'm ready to forget about it in case this tiny (and huge time-saving) option is implemented in vuze
just in case, another example: a torrent-file contains 4 files: 1 cue, 1 jpg,…

Seeding Target ETA for Vuze UI (already exists in Classic UI)
I generally prefer Vuze UI but I'd like to be able to check the seeding target ETA, which can only be done through Classic UI so far. Currently, only download ETA is available in Vuze UI.

file quick rename - don't auto select file's extension
When using the "quick rename" function, the entire file name text including the extension is automatically selected (in blue).
When you rename a file using Windows Explorer, only the file's base name text is auto selected.
e.g., renaming "Great Movie.avi" would only auto-select the text "Great Movie"
likewise if the "add suffix to incomplete files" option is used, "Great Movie.avi.az!" only auto-select the text "Great Movie"1 vote
