While selecting files to be download, allow selecting multiples by file type such as movies (.avi, .mp4, ...), images (.jpg, .gif, ...) because sometimes not all files are wanted.540 votes
There’ is a ‘file type’ column in the open torrent options dialog (select column setup to enable it) – sort by this and then multi-select the desired entries and mark them (maybe select-all and unmark to begin with to start with nothing selected)
If new torrent has folder(s) structure in it, show it to be possible select/deselect not only the file(s), and the folder(s) too.459 votes
A pretty close approximation to this is in beta – right clicking on a file in the open-torrent-options dialog gives some context menus allowing selection of all files within the file’s folder (and perent folder etc). Use this in conjunction with the mark/unmark buttons to operate on ‘all files in folder X’
Ability to prioritize uploading speed of a certain file in order to be able to delete it faster when it gets to 1.00 ratio.
I normally dont delete files until they get to 1.00 ratio at least.
Problem is im running out of disk space and I would like to be able to prioritize uploading speed of certain files(specially big ones) in order to be able to delete them without feeling guilty about the ratio.258 votes
Tags support an ‘upload priority’ attribute – create a tag, set this property (right-click on the tag and select ‘upload priority’) – your user mode needs to be intermediate or higher to see this. This will prioritize upload bandwidth to torrents assigned to that category.
Feature is in beta but not for categories but tags (tags are superseding categories) – you need to assign a default directory to a tag and then tasg your download when adding it in the open-torrent-options dialog to achieve the desired effect (or set a ‘move to’ folder on the tag to get the download moved to a given directory on completion)

Imagine you just added a torrent and in it, there were thousands of files so, in a way to keep your sanity by not needing to do it after Azureus created/allocated the files and all those annoying alarms by it not being able to move the files, you could move the files in the Open Torrent Dialog? Nice!
Would be even better if there was a folder structure to the dialog.1 vote
Check out the latest beta:
it has a right-click menu in the files area that allows you to select all the files within a given folder. You can then perform an action on that selection. However, the ‘change destination’ option prompts you for each file in the selection, I’ll look into adding an ‘apply to all’ option too
The current version (184.108.40.206_B34) does a great job of restoring the torrent details when the app is restarted - and that is a big step over the older versions.
Unfortunately, the order of the items in the side bar list is not preserved when the app reboot.
Generally, this means we lose the order in which things were downloaded and the restored order does not seem to follow a pattern that I can determine :-)11 votes
With multiple files within a torrent you should be able to select all of them and do a batch numbered prioritizing instead of numbering 1 file at a time. similer to utorrent's prioritizing method.4 votes
Choose a color for tags/categories.
Have the torrent's rows become that color.17 votes
Music can automatically be added to itunes if you drag it to the itunes option in the device, and select 'do not transcode', however if you set up tags to automatically move your files to where you want them/convert as you need, there is no option for music to be ported into itunes under 'do not transcode'. It only has all the 'iPad 3, Apple TV' options.1 vote
Categorise torrents by tracker name on the sidebar, similar to grouping by tags, but different. So, for example, Tracker A, B, C, etc will all have their own 'tag' on the sidebar automatically and new torrents will be added to the respective group. This will make managing torrents more effective, especially for distinguishing private/public trackers as well as prioritising seeding/leeching for certain trackers when maintaining a certain level of ratio is a concern.3 votes
When Vuze is already open and minimized in systray and I add a torr file add option that Vuze stays minimized and doesn't get focus
I've got finally Vuze on Windows 7 64-bit and went there from XP. I installed therefore anew Vuze with the 64 bit Version and configured it to my liking.
However, during that I noticed whenever I open a .torrent file or any other files which add a p2p Content file to my list Vuze opens up and gains Focus.
Now what I Need is either an Option where one can state when minimized/closed as Symbol to SysTray, that this program stays minimized and doesn't open up and gains focus.31 votes

Just like every tag gets Its own table, add a table for all the torrents without a tag.
It would make it easy to find torrents you forgot to tag6 votes
When adding a torrent using the add dialog, have the option to tag or categorize torrents before starting. This way I don't have to hunt down the torrent i just added in order to tag it.14 votes
Possibility to quickly specify a folder where the torrent is to be moved after it is downloaded, in the "Open Torrent(s)" dialog
In the "Open Torrent(s)" dialog, just like the "Location to save data" part of the dialog (label, combo box, browse button), and just below it, it would be awesome if it would be possible to quickly specify an optional location to move the data to after the download is completed.8 votes
Ctrl Click/right click on Vuze logo in the menu bar and be able to add a torrent from there.1 vote
