bring back the remove option instead of the delete....
bring back the remove from list option instead of the delete...its almost scary having to click delete...when all u wanna do is remove the torrent from the list....you got rid of it a while ago..I have accidently deleted a torrent and its data before...thankfull it was something that didn't matter

Further comments:
1) Whenever I'm removing torrents I'm anxious that I might accidentally click the Delete button right next to it, and lose my file(s).
2) When multiple items are selected, it would be nice to have the "apply action to all selected entries" box checked by default, replace it with a pop-up query after clicking remove or delete, or have said query pop up if box wasn't checked.
3) Re Anonymous October 20 - I remove from library after seeding at least 1.25, or more if torrent looks to be in trouble. Keeping files in library indefinitely would cripple Vuze as the library got bigger and bigger. -

I agree that people should seed instead of deleting torrents. Deleting makes it ****** for others to get the file. For those who have a need to remove the torrent without deleting, just right click and select "remove".

WHAT THE ****?!? You people shouldnt be deleting anyways!!! Your the exact people that the rest of us hate because you never seed. You get what you want & go on your marry way w/your finger in your bum. You should seed instead of deleting so this question is really useless. If anything you should come up with a way to shut people down if they dont seed for a fair amount of time. Block them out completely for a couple weeks and if they do it again block them for a month...3rd time they get blocked for good and get a swift kick in the teeth! lol guys like you really ruin it for the rest of us that play by the rules.

I agree, a newbie won't know that delete has further options until they click on it!
Should be two options, Remove From Vuze, and Delete file(s) from Computer. Delete should also have an optional confirmation popup., and/or delete to Recycle Bin/Trash, to allow for mistake recovery. -

Why are you removing torrents from your library and not deleting them, don't you seed?

The delete button and the right click delete both have the option to choose whether you want to cancel, delete from computer, or delete from library. This has already been implemented.

Great idea, should be a higher priority. delete/remove from library button top or bottom of page.

This idea should be at the top! Really off putting pressing a delete button to remove media from your library

As long as the delete option remains, reinstating a remove command seems reasonable. I use the delete function.

Yes I agree remove (with a delete option) would help alleviate inadvertent mouse clicks or right clicks.

I agree with this idea so much! I too feel a sense of dread whenever I press the delete key. Why on earth would anyone download a torrent just to delete it as soon as it is done? It makes no sense the way things are now.
