Display or give the option to display the file name/extention.
Optionally provide ability to display the file type on the main screen. Maybe like a custom option title bar. I want to see what the file is I am downloading. Or highlight the title of the file that is downloading and have it display in a popup.
adding a new column to the download views – for multi-file torrents this will display the extension of the ‘primary file’

Nice feature, but I've opted to add the "suffix" .az! to all of the incomplete files, so consequently, that's pretty much all I see in "File Type"...
If this feature could check the "Files" page (in options) and realize that the "Add suffix to incomplete files" has been checked, then take whatever is in that field and remove it for display purposes only, then it would be more helpful...unless there's another motive behind the way it is now...so if the file was named "myfile.avi.az!", it would remove the .az! (or whatever the use may have put in) and just show the .avi

Thanks Admin.
I'm pretty computer illiterate but went into Tools > Options and set Mode to "Intermediate", and then went back to main screen, right clicked Name Column > Column Set Up and scrolled down to "File Type" and added. Worked perfectly, thank you.
I know sometimes people very experienced think they are explaining "how to's", but sometimes we newbies have to be spoon fed. We get there ... just takes a little longer. :) Thanks to those who are patient enough to explain fully.
My kids think it's so cool that in my mid 50s I understand a little about torrents. I won't tell them that I probably know far less than they think. ;)
Thanks again.

Just installed update and there's nothing in the 'column setup' regarding 'file type.'
