Increase Cache Size
PLEASE workaround on how to increase the overall memory cache over the current cap! make a simple check box somewhere, or even a defined parameter, so that people with 100 mbit+ speeds and much RAM to stop getting the XX:MaxMemoryDirectSize error
- i tried fixing it for almost 10 hours, still when i open task manager i don t see vuze getting past 700mb used memory
- in utorrent we have the 'override automatic cache size' that goes up to 1800mb (32 bit 2gb cap), get the example from there
- i really like vuze, but for larger torrents (15gb+ per se) i have to use utorrent and it s annoying

Paul, can you please uncomment this?
I think huge sizes for caches is useless.
I have spend through "XX:MaxMemoryDirectSize" 100 MB (now 200 MB) and it works well, and as I had checked works effectively. Internal client's built-in cache disabled. Massive sizes I didn't have checked, how they works, if setting ("XX:MaxMemoryDirectSize") really works.
There is also additionally system's cache (file, cache working set) for sure.
I have also using "-XX:+UseLargePages" and "-XX:LargePageSizeInBytes=2m", and configured it in the system (Windows7 64-bit), so, Vuze's things keeped in the memory.
