Automatically move files/torrents to tag specified location when changing the main torrent Tag
Let's say you have completed torrents under the Movies tag (saved in a /movies folder), but you want to re-organize your files and move all Movies into the Media tag (and its associated folder). Normally you have to relocate them one by one through Vuze. It'd be nice if you could select them all, switch their main tag to Media and Vuze started moving them automatically. I'm not using utorrent but I know that both qbittorrent and Tixati do that with their labels (with Tixati in particular being insane in the categorization aspect).

Issue. What happens when you don't want some tagged torrents to move to the new tag location? For example, when the disk gets full, and you switch the tag directory to point to the new one, that'll work for new torrents but if you use "apply to current" for whatever reason, wouldn't that move EVERY torrent with that tag, even those you don't want to move? How to do fix that besides breaking up the tag and labelling one as old, then tag ALL previous torrents, which is a rather crude solution?

Oh, that sounds nice enough, going to beta test this option a bit I suppose.

The 'apply to current' works on a per-tag basis and updates (moves) all torrents that have been assigned to that tag. So you could move 10 torrents from tag A to tag B (select tag A in sidebar, multi-select the 10 torrents shown in the library view for tag A and drop them onto tag B in the sidebar, for example), then right-click on tag B and select 'apply to current' to move all of the `10 torrents to whichever folder you've set for 'inital save location' or 'move on complete location'

Just saw the beta changelogs, nice going. Btw, is this strictly a per-torrent setting or can you switch tags for multiple torrents, then select all of them and use "Apply to current"?

It'll be in the next beta as a right-click menu option for both the 'initial save location' and 'move on complete location' menus - new entry named 'apply to current' that will apply the currently defined location to the tag's current downloads. Not totally automatic but better than doing it entirely manually...
