If the "Kick and Ban" command could be automated it would be more useful, one can use the ip filter to block entire continents but you can't disconnect a suspicious peer or one that just stays connected for a long time without exchanging significant data. Anyway you can try to enable logging to file and search for the elusive peer there but you must set the ip filter to allow your country and use other app to filter the bad ips.

You can tell if you'll be able to help a peer in 20 minutes or less, but if you have an Up Ratio of 0.04:1 should you continue or should you try to help someone else.
Torrents health will last longer if you seed only when is really necessary and not every time you have the opportunity.
It will be more likely to share with users closer to your location, which was one of request posted here, without having to ping hundreds of ips.
Peers are chosen randomly like in a lottery and Vuze could turn the odds in favor of those who need to connect more urgently. Peers can be disconnected manually but automated would be a LOT better.

Every day more and more IPv6 addresses are being used but Peerblock doesn't support it and probably will not do that in the coming year. The only option we have now is to disable IPv6 properly. From what i know is used mostly by mobile devices so it's not a big concern for now but it will be.

It would nice to have some tabs opened at start if we leave them that way when we close the client, like the "All Peers" tab that i have to open manually every time the client starts.

I wasn't sure about the tracker update behavior, but i am almost certain that having the option to pick the primary source for peers based on how many seeds has will fix the 0 seeds problem. And i know how to find the ip of a tracker but i thought it would be more convenient that way.

In the last few weeks i tagged and monitored 10 tasks with high seeds to sea how they behave. Some dropped there values as low as 90% and sometimes to zero, so i haven't noticed an improvement on that. But i took a better look at the peers sources (dht and trackers) and i noticed that the primary source is not the one with the highest seeds but most likely the latest updated, this tasks had sources with higher values but they didn't use them. Wouldn't be better if they would use the source with the highest seed value as a primary source and delay the update until another source gets a higher value or for at least one hour. Try to find the update interval time for every tracker so it would not refuse connection. And show the ip of the tracker in a column, might be useful for people that filter their traffic using apps like PeerBlock.

The seed count can sometimes change in a short time making some of the rules set by the user in queue futile. Seeding could be improved by averaging the peak seeds values for the last hours or days and use that as reference for the queuing rules, ignoring of course the ones with the value of 0

I have 90 tasks queued and i know that the ones tagged as seeding are just ready for upload but don't do that only the ones tagged as active do. You should test that yourself if you have the time, change the number of active tasks to any value other then 0 when time-rotation is on and keep it like that for a while and see what happens, you will not have any task uploading, except maybe the ones forced into seeding.

When you set the "Auto Starting" to "Time Rotation" and you have maximum simultaneous downloads or active torrents set to any value other then 0 in "Queue", all your active tasks go in to queued state and disappear from the active tag and they don't came back unless you change them again to 0.

Why don't you disconect the slowest seeds and search for alternatives in the swarm. Lets say you are connected to 9 seeds, disconect the 3 slowest in the last 5 minutes and rotate the next 3 seeds to download from, if one of those will be the top 6 fastest will be kept and so forth, that if you have more than 9 seeds in the swarm though. You can do the same while uploading.

some internet providers have a transfer limit, you can try to prioritize your bandwith by adding the "wealthiest countries blocklist" to the ip filter while seeding

I've seen at least two similar requests with over 1000 votes each and i am pretty sure they working on it right now and in a couple of months will see Vuze Lite unless vuze vote it's just a marketing campaign

Vuze only shows me that it didn't shutdown properly every time it starts, a known issue that apparently can't be fixed so at least don't show us that.

Download the wealthiest nations blocklist and set the ip filter to use it. It's not ideal but unless your country is in the list you will share more with your fellow citizens.

this issue is real i've seen it many times before but i don't understand why after 20 years it has't been fixeed, though i don't think is Vuze fault.

this would be a verry good feature for the ip filter when is set to allow but it must have a status icon to be safe

IF ever implemented make sure you can enable/disable, allow/block list individually
