theres tons of documentation on the internet on how to open the ports on your router for the firewall
all you really need to do is turn on UPNP in the router and vuze will do the rest.....tho some people don't trust UPNP -

that would be a rather dumb idea for torrent downloading....first it would require all your torrent downloads to be hosted on the vuze server or whoever does the account....which is not practical
second it would require alot of file transfering over the network...again not practical
if you wanna do this buy a NAS device with like 2 or more hdd slots.....then download all your torrents to that...then setup a network in your home with GIGABIT(very important) and then you can just stream from the NAS to each pc in the home -

this would require a totally new feature set..especially the last part about notifying people
btw you can setup a private tracker in vuze for you and your members -

you can turn the filter off for individual torrents

find him someone who speaks dutch...and english well and will work for free and willing to translate most of the main site

an iso is ment to be burned to disc (or played with vlc if its a dvd iso)
its basically a zip file with the files inside...gonna be nearly impossible to directly convert one -

theses days you are better off building or buying a cheap HTPC for tv viewing....

I already suggested something similar...only had the problem of where to download it from so as to not kill the servers..and who decides what ips to block

if its an avi use virtualdub..if its an MKV use mkvtools
if its an mp4...could probably still use mkvtools..it would just change it to a mkv instead -
